This is a lovely book, divided into several chapters, each with a separate adventure although some characters reappear in the different stories. I read this book to my children, aged eight and five, and they enjoyed it a lot.
A (5 y/o): I liked "The Boy and His Banana" best. It was funny. I also liked the story where Lily learned to say please.
J (8 y/o): I liked "The Strange Smell" best because Tree Fairy and her friends thought the durian fruit would be yucky because it smelled bad, but then it turned out to be tasty. We can still try things even if they are new and strange.
Overall, this is a fun book for children of all ages. The illustrations are beautiful and there are many of them, which is great to keep younger children engaged in the stories. We look forward to seeing what more adventures this lovely author has in store for Tree Fairy and her friends.
