This gripping read makes very interesting use of tropes. It’s a slow burn, “wannabe” enemies to lovers, impossible love between step-siblings and second chance romance with an excellent set up and a pretty good execution. The main characters were easy to connect with and although Logan did behave like an idiot, the author managed to present him as an endearing idiot. I particularly liked that his reasoning actually came from a place of love and respect, which his actions didn’t reflect.
