I quite enjoyed this action-packed contemporary romance with a side of police investigation. I particularly appreciate how the author focused on trauma and PTS for Mila’s character. It was well done and made for an intense connection with the character.

There were a few fast-paced scenes where the sequence of the action didn’t come across quite right, so I struggled to envision what was going on, but otherwise this novel is quite well-written and most definitely enjoyable.
