I love the characters. The world totally sucked me in and I couldn’t get enough of it. I was totally captivated. The motives unfold so brilliantly that I was surprised and yet prepared with every twist the author threw.
This is a fantastic Rumpelstiltskin retelling in Part 1 of the novel, and in Part 2 things pick up a generation later along with a switch in point of view. The second part completely altered my understanding of everything that happened in the first part, and that was sheer brilliance.
Loved it! And will most definitely be looking for more from this author.
